The Oslo-listed seismic outfit will pocket NOK 20m ($3.3m)for the deal with North Energy.
EMGS will use the Atlantic Guardian for the job which hasjust completed a contract for Pemex in Mexico, it said today.
Work begins in the middle of this month.
"This contract means that EM is becoming accepted as anexploration tool in the North Sea and re-iterates that the application of theEM technology will be an integral part of North Energy's explorationworkflow," said CEO Roar Bekker.
Meanwhile EMGS reported that vessel utilisation improvedduring the first quarter to 66% from 63% for the same period of 2013.
