Thailand's Mermaid Maritime has won subsea services contracts worth a combined $7.4m in the Middle East and south-east Asia.
The Singapore-listed company has secured a nine-month contract with an unnamed a national upstream oil and gas company in the Middle East, commencing this quarter, a filing said on Friday.
Mermaid will provide an air dive system and a light work-class remotely operated vehicle (ROV) to carry out air diving and services during the project.
In south-east Asia, Mermaid has won a 45-day contract with an unnamed international engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) company.
The OSV owner will assist in installing a 2,000-metre subsea manuli hose for oil production support in an offshore field in the region.
Mermaid will provide under-water inspection in lieu of dry-docking (UWILD) services for its client and will supply offshore diving, ROV and deck crew, surveys, and a third-party chartered-in vessel to undertake the project.
