EMASAMC, Ezra’s subsea services arm, has secured a variety of cable lay and subseainstallation contracts in the North Sea and Gulf of Mexico worth almost $40m.
Amongstthe projects is one of the longest high voltage alternate current (HVAC) cablelays in the world, at 160km in the North Sea.
Thegroup’s offshore support services arm, EMASMarine, was also awarded several contracts in Africa and Asia worth$55m.
Thesecontracts involve the deployment of one anchor handler and two PSVs in Africaand another five anchor handlers and one PSV in Asia.
“Theprojects that EMAS AMC is winningare growing in quality and complexity, which is a recognition of how far wehave developed our subsea engineering capabilities,” said Ezra chief executiveLionel Lee.
“Asfor EMAS Marine, we hadidentified Africa as a key market to expand, even as we maintain our leadershipposition in the Asia-Pacific region.
“Thesewins by the division reinforces our strategy and I believe that EMAS Marine will grow from strength tostrength as the year progresses under its new leadership.”
Withthe latest wins, Ezra’s orderbook stands at more than $2bn with a majorityexpected to be executed over the next 12 to 18 months.
