Norwegian offshore player Rem Offshore has hammered out charters for five ships.
The company announced the contracts on Wednesday — totalling NOK 200m ($23.3m) — for the 3,838-dwt Rem Mira, 5,478-dwt Rem Cetus, 4,300-dwt Rem Insula (all built 2013) and two ships to be named Rem Trader and Rem Inspector.
"The value of these contracts significantly contribute to the earnings visibility of Rem Offshore and creates a solid foundation for further growth. These awards also showcase our organisation’s talent for value creation in what is still a trying market," chief executive Fredrik Remoy said in a statement.
