One of Solstad Offshore's anchor handler's has secured a contract extention.
The 258-tbp Far Statesman (built 2013) will stay on at ENI for another five months to support the Italian company's offshore drilling operation in Indonesia.
The anchor handling supply vessel was first leased to ENI in July. Last winter, the ship was employed in Australia.
In December, Solstad cut a deal with lenders and bondholders to freeze bond payments as it looks to boost liquidity during a difficult North Sea winter season.
In the third quarter, the company's losses grew and Clarksons Platou Securities advised investors to sell the Oslo-traded company.
The Far Statesman is one of the company's 44 AHSTs.
