China’s Beibu Gulf Tourism has inked deals for four passengerships at domestic shipyards.
Brokers said it has ordered two 1,000-gt, 192-passenger ferries, plus two 1,100-gt vessels capable of carrying 264 people.
One of each size will be built at both Yantai CIMC Raffles and Zhejiang Fangyuan.
They will be named Xun Xian 1 Hoa, Xun Xian 2 Hao, Xun Xian 5 Hao and Xun Xian 6 Hao.
Delivery is set for May 2017, but no price was given.
Beibu, controlled by the ENN group, has 13 ferries on the water.
