Clipper Group's Seatruck Ferries has beefed up capacity on its Liverpool to Dublin route.
The smallest vessel on the service, the 7,600-gt Clipper Ranger (built 1998), has been replaced by a larger P-series vessel offering almost twice the capacity.
And additional Friday sailings have been introduced, giving Seatruck 44 crossings per week on what is its busiest Irish Sea service.
The introduction of the larger vessel is the next stage in Seatruck’s strategic development plan, with the company now operating 78 departures per week across three key routes on the Irish Sea, it said.
