Costa Cruises is gearing up for wedding season, in a big way. The Genoa-based company says it has hired out an entire cruise ship for the wedding of the son of an Indian billionaire.
The 3,800-berth Costa Fascinosa (built 2012) will host over 1,000 guests for the wedding of the son of Rizwan Khan, who founded Dubai-based conglomerate Danube Group.
Rizwan, with estimated net worth of some $2bn, is reportedly spending $30m on the wedding of his son Adel to Sana Khan, a dentist, beauty queen, artist, and writer.
The cruise, which will take place over four days, will make various port calls throughout the Mediterranean. The wedding guests will include a number of Indian actors and musicians as part of the "Bollywood" themed event, with 60 chefs aboard to serve the guests.
