Seven passengers have been injured on a ferry off Norway after a "monster" wave hit the bow.

Norwegian media said Hurtigruten's 16,100-gt Trollfjord (built 2002) was caught in a storm off the coast en route to Molde on Friday night.

Passengers were thrown to the deck. Some were taken to hospital, but none was seriously hurt.

The vessel was heading from Kristiansund.

It is not thought the vessel has been damaged.
