Stena Line is consolidating its Danish ferry businesses into one company with a new management team.
Stena Rederi will replace the Stena Line Baltic name, with headquarters located in the Hellerup region of Copenhagen.
This company will manage Stena routes from Nynashamn to Ventspils and Travemunde to Liepaja.
A new management team has been appointed, with Johnny Schmolker as managing director.
“Denmark is an important market for us where we have been present for a very long time," said Stena Rederi chairman Carl-Johan Hagman.
"We are taking this step to continue to develop our strong and long-term presence in Denmark and to reach more efficient coordination within our operational activities such as ship management and vessel services.
"By making this change we are building a robust organisation in Denmark well prepared for future challenges.”
