Baltic Sea ro-pax group Tallink has returned to profit in the fourth quarter as it posted record passenger figures for 2016.
Net earnings in the final three months were EUR 3.51m ($3.71m), against a loss of EUR 1.32m in 2015.
Revenue dipped to EUR 226m from EUR 227.63m, but operating expenses were reduced and finance costs fell.
In the fourth quarter, passenger numbers were 2.2m, up 4.7% year-on-year.
But for the full year, the total hit a new high of 9.5m passengers, up 5.4%.
Cargo units increased 6.5% and the number of passenger vehicles transported rose 4.2%.
Annual profit declined to EUR 44.1m from EUR 59.07m in 2015, however.
It blamed this on changes in chartering and route operating capacity that raised costs.
