The master, chief engineer, engineer and bosun have arrived inLagos following their kidnapping from the anchor-handling tug supply vessel (AHTS)MDPL Continental One on 13 June, according to TradeWinds’ sister oil and gaspublication Upstream.

Up to 14 armed me on two skiffs ransacked the JayaHoldings-owned vessel and snatched the three Indians and one Pole.

No other injuries or vessel damage were reported.

The vessel is managed by United Arab Emirates-based CSOffshore but is operated by Singapore-based Marine Delivery Pte. 

According to Upstream, Jaya was only informed of theincident six days after it occurred and none of the parties reported thehijacking to the International Maritime (IMB) Bureau’s Piracy Reporting Centre.
