Adnoc Logistics & Services (Adnoc L&S) has won a ports services deal lasting 25 years in Abu Dhabi.
The shipping arm of Abu Dhabi National Oil Co (Adnoc) said the contract has been sealed with the emirate's Petroleum Ports Authority (PPA).
The company will provide pilotage, towage, line handling and other marine services at the oil ports of Das Island, Zirku Island and Mubarraz.
Adnoc L&S said the agreement "brings the long-standing relationship between Adnoc L&S and PPA to a new level of collaboration".
The company was appointed following technical reviews and benchmarking against major regional and international ports, the shipowner added.
Last year, Adnoc L&S completed 8,659 dive jobs, 741 tows, 2,022 line-handling operations for incoming vessels, 5,630 pilotages and 2,806 vessel berths.
No value has been revealed for the new agreement.
Driving innovation
Adnoc L&S chief executive Captain Abdulkareem Al Masabi said: "This new agreement with PPA is a natural evolution of our close collaboration over many years and will allow us to utilise our resources strategically, and drive innovation that will boost performance, enhance efficiency and deliver a seamless end-to-end service at all Abu Dhabi petroleum ports."
The company operates the United Arab Emirates' largest fleet, with tankers, bulkers and LNG carriers under its control.
The offshore fleet comprises 44 owned ships, with a similar number under charter.
This includes anchor-handling tugs, platform supply vessels, safety standby units, landing craft and crew boats.
In August, TradeWinds reported that Adnoc L&S has gone out to shipyards for offers on up to six VLCC and eight aframax LR2 tanker newbuildings worth more than $900m.
Shipbuilders were due to submit commercial bids for three VLCC newbuildings, with options on a further trio.
In addition, state-controlled Adnoc L&S has asked for offers on four LR2 product tanker newbuildings and options for up to four more.
