A Bahri tanker has been involved in a collision with a naval ship in Taiwan.
The Central News Agency (CNA) reported that the navy will pursue compensation after the incident involving the 45,000-dwt chemical carrier NCC Sama (built 2012) and the frigate Ning Yang, which was damaged in the middle of its port side on Saturday in Keelung.
Nobody was injured, but the ministry of national defence said it would seek compensation "according to the law".
NCC Sama had been due to unload 3,100 tonnes of ethylene glycol in Keelung, CNA reported.
No pollution was reported.
Bahri has been contacted for comment.
