Containers have toppled over in rough weather on a K Line boxship off the US.
The 8,614-teu Helsinki Bridge (built 2012) was heading into Wilmington from Boston when the incident occurred, port spokeswoman Bethany Welch told WWAY3 TV.
US Coast Guard chief petty officer Jeremy Thomas said the ship had hit bad weather.
The total number of affected containers was not yet known.
Thomas said the ship’s crew will give a full report on any missing containers before they leave port.
