Eight crew have been evacuated from a Turkish gneral cargoship taking on water off Croatia.
The Hina news agency said the master and four other seafarers had remained on the 3,100-dwt Haksa (built 2001), which suffered damage near Jabuka island on Sunday.
The men - six Turks and two Indians - have been brought to Split by a police boat.
The plan is to tow the ship to Trogir shipyard for repair.
The vessel was transporting 3,000 tonnes of magnesite from Turkey to Koper in Slovenia.
No pollution has been reported and the ship was not in danger of sinking.
The latest update from the AIS system said the vessel was not under command on Monday afternoon.
