A livestock carrier that broke down off Corsica on Tuesday is to get a tow home to Lebanon.
Corse Matin reported that the 1,200-dwt Britta K (built 1974) will be pulled to Beirut, its original destination.
A tug was due to arrive in the Gulf of Ajaccio on Thursday morning.
The vessel has 810 cattle and 263 sheep on board.
It is operated by Rabunion Maritime Agency of Beirut.
Britta K was 50km off Ajaccio when it lost power.
