A major incident has been declared in Scotland after six lorries tipped over in bad weather on a P&O ferry.
Emergency services were called to the 20,600-gt European Causeway (built 2000) at Cairnryan Ferry Terminal near Stranraer on Tuesday, STV reported, citing police.
No injuries have been reported, but some passengers were unable to disembark.
P&O Ferries said in a statement: "We can confirm that an incident took place on the European Causeway this morning.
"In extreme weather conditions, a number of vehicles have moved position on the decks causing damage on board.
"All passengers and crew are safely accounted for, there are no reports of injuries and the emergency services are in attendance."
