Two Ukrainian seafarers have died on a general cargoship in Cape Verde.
Ukrainian media cited the ministry of foreign affairs as saying the men, from Kherson, were found dead on the 31,800-dwt Atlantic Harmony (built 2017).
Reports said they may have suffered "poisoning", but Turkish operator Istanbul Shipping told TradeWinds the men died of natural causes.
The wife of one of the seafarers was reported as saying the first death occurred on 7 May, with the second man dying 13 hours later.
She was cited as saying the first man may have suffered pulmonary edema, a lung condition.
Some reports also said a third man had died, but this was denied by the operator.
An investigation has begun.
The ship was en route from Tubarao in Brazil to Gibraltar.
