A 1952-built tanker has been forced ashore in a storm off Cyprus.
The Kibris Star said the 200-dwt Salim N1 (built 1952) grounded on a beach after being anchored off Famagusta since 2 December.
Salvage work could start on Sunday or Monday due to more bad weather expected in the area.
The vessel is listed as controlled by Med Petrol of Panama.
