A Buss Shipping container vessel has been refloated after grounding in the Faroe Islands.

The incident involving the 877-teu Perseus (built 2010) happened on 24 June.

The vessel made contact with a new rubble breakwater while entering the port.

Two tugs helped free the ship in the early hours of 25 June.

Its cargo has been unloaded and it is now bound for Reykjavik, according to AIS data, after suffering no significant damage.
