A tanker has hit another tanker and a boxship in an accident in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

The SETN website reported that the incident happened on the morning of 3 November.

Footage shows a vessel named as Kinshing ploughing bow-first into the port side of CPC Corp's bigger 6,500-dwt Der Yun (built 2012) and then scraping down it, causing damage to the hull and railings.

The vessel was then said to have collided with the 3,000-dwt MPP Setsu Maru (built 2014), operated by Nansei Kaiun.

No injuries were reported and there was no pollution.

Neither tanker was carrying cargo.
