The bodies of two crew have been located and identified inside the hull of a ro-ro that capsized in a storm off Vietnam.

The 20,900-gt passenger/freight ferry Jupiter (built 1975) was hit by typhoon Damrey on the night of 4 November.

The ship, managed by Prime Cruise Development of Vietnam, was four miles from Quy Nhon, local media said.

Seven crew were reported on board at the time. It is not clear whether the others were rescued.

The two bodies were found inside cabins by rescue divers.

The operation had been hampered by large waves and poor visibility.

The vessel had been anchored to house tourists off Van Phong Bay since 2010.

It was reportedly under tow to Haiphong for repairs when the storm hit, but its moorings broke.
