The pair booked the ship at Vard in June 2012 with deliveryset for the same month this year.
Solstad initially agreed to buy just a 30% stake in thevessel that cost NOK 1.5bn ($236m) with an option to raise the stake to 50%.
However today the Oslo-listed owner announced it is takingfull ownership of the Normand Vision though it declined to reveal the price.
Ocean Installer will charter the vessel for a minimum ofeight years with the option of a further two.
The terms are confidential but Solstad says the contract,its third with Ocean Installer, will give it an “acceptable return”.
