Germany's Cassen Eils has bought a ferry damaged in a sinking last year.
The 106-gt Wega II (built 1986) will sail again in the Bremerhaven area under captain Reinhild Niessen, the previous owner, the Nordwest Zeitung reported.
Services will start in April, but passenger numbers have been reduced to 70 from 120 after the accident.
The vessel was partially submerged after suffering water ingress in April 2016 following a routine stay at Diedrich Shipyard in Oldersum.
