Norwegian shipbroker Fearnleys is opening two new offices.

The company is strengthening its dry bulk team by hiring people for new offices both in Genoa and Stockholm.

Fearnleys has hired Frank Torelli. who comes from the leading broker and competitor Clarksons, where he was employed for almost 11 years.

“Hiring Frank gives us a footprint in the Italian maritime environment, where Fearnleys has a long history,” Fearnleys chief executive Kirstian Sorensen told Finansavisen.

In July, Fearnleys opened an office in Stockholm by hiring the dry cargo expert Peter Ulfvin from Cargill.

In addition, to the head office in Oslo, Fearnleys also has offices in the UK, India, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and the US.
