Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) has exceeded its 2018 order target after new deals reached 153 ships on Thursday.
The company said that after adding two navy frigates, it had contracts in the bag worth $13.3bn.
It had been aiming for $13.2bn this year.
HHI has added 25 LNG carriers and 15 LPG carriers so far in 2018, "a segment where the group is placed in an unparalleled position," it said.
It has also booked 56 tankers, 50 containerships, four bulkers and a car ferry.
