Russia's Zelenodolsk shipyard has won an order for two ferries from an unnamed customer in the UAE.
The high-speed passenger vessels have been designed by Agat Design Bureau, PortNews reported.
They can carry 150 people at 40 knots for 400 miles without refuelling.
The deal was signed at the Russia — Islamic World: KazanSummit 2017.
