Chile’s Sociedad Nacional de Oleoductos (SONACOL) has reportedly placed two of its five vessels up for disposal.

The company is said to be seeking buyers for the 63,600-dwt Punta Gruesa (built 2008) and the 46,700-dwt Abtao (built 2004).

VesselsValue, the on-line valuation site, says the LR1 is worth around $15.5m, while the MR2 is said to be worth $11.4m.

The Punta Gruesa is available for inspection in Cristobal, while the Abtao will be available for inspection in Lome, Togo in early November, says joint broker Galbraiths.
