Greek shipowner Evangelos Pistiolis has added to his newbuilding orderbook at Hyundai-Vinashin.

Private company Central Shipping Monaco is behind the latest tanker which is for delivery in August next year.

The vessel is the tenth Pistiolis has contracted at Vinashin during the past few years.

Seven of those ships are now on the water and are either owned or part owned by public company Top Ships.

The remaining three are fully-owned by Central Shipping Monaco and will be delivered from January 2018.

Pistiolis confirms the latest newbuilding, which will be built to Tier-II specification.

While he declined to comment on the price, the last ships he contracted at the yard were pegged at around $32m each.
