Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) has revealed two more attacks at the key crude refinery in Zawiya.
Last week, gunmen mounted an assault on the plant, targeting security personnel in a bid to gain access to the oil mixing facility. They stole a company vehicle in the process.
And the week before, an employee was kidnapped and later released in a raid that saw other property stolen.
The tanker terminal was shut down after a force majeure was declared in July following reduced production at Sharara after the kidnapping of four employees of the joint venture which runs the oil field.
NOC chairman Mustafa Sanalla said: "This situation is not sustainable, either from a worker security or production standpoint.
"We expect the most basic principles of security to be upheld by those guarding NOC facilities, and call upon the relevant authorities to remedy this inadequacy immediately."
The company's head office in Tripoli was raided by gunmen in September and two staff were killed.
