An Indonesian tanker reported as missing at the end of last year has reappeared on AIS.
Contact was lost with the 1,900-dwt palm oil ship Namse Bangdzod (built 1993) on 28 December after it left Bagendang in Indonesia.
It was bound for Jakarta where it was expected to arrive two days later.
Indonesian media said on Monday that owner Petronusa Niaga Energy (PNE) had filed a letter with police about the situation.
The ship has 12 crew.
But AIS data shows the ship as heading to anchorage in Jakarta on Monday.
Authorities had speculated about a possible accident or pirate attack.
