Giannis Noutsos is out as chief financial officer at Christos Traios-led Petrogress.

The Greek tanker owner traded on US OTC markets Wednesday announced the 34-year-old was stepping down. He had held the post for roughly six months after being appointed in September 2018.

Noutsos will be replaced by Evangelos Makris, who joined Petrogress 9 March as a finance manager.

Makris, 36, will serve on a part-time, consulting basis. He joined the company from Ernst & Young.

It was not disclosed why Noutsos was leaving the post, nor when or if a permanent finance chief might be hired.

Like Makris, Noutsos rose from finance manager to the c-suite after joining a month prior.

Before that, Noutsos was an accountant for Prime Marine Management, a shipowner with a fleet of 32 tankers.

For the third quarter, Petrogress posted $412,111 profit, an improvement from the $117,781 for the third quarter of 2017, on the back of declining year over year expenses.

The company has not yet reported fourth-quarter results.
