Georgina E. Sousa has left the board of three companies controlled by John Fredriksen.
Sousa’s exit as a director of Frontline, Flex LNG and Northern Drilling was announced in separate statements today.
No reasons were given for her departure and it has not yet been possible to obtain further details.
Sousa has been a director of multiple Fredriksen companies during her career, ranging from Seadrill to Frontline 2012, Golden Ocean and historically Golar LNG before its change of ownership.
According to her Bloomberg profile her career includes multiple Bermuda-based law firms.
Frontline is left with a board of six directors, including chairman Fredriksen, chief executive Robert Hvide Macleod and chief financial officer Inger Klemp, plus veteran shipowner Ola Lorentzon, Ulrika Laurin and James O'Shaughnessy.
Lorentzon is also a director of Flex LNG, alongside David McManus, Nicolai Grigoriev and Fredriksen’s sale and purchase chief Marius Hermansen
