Torm is looking for a new chief financial officer.

The Danish tanker owner announced Friday that Christian Sogaard-Christensen has tendered his resignation. He had been with the company since 2010.

"I want to thank Christian for his important contributions to our One Torm platform over the years," executive director Jacob Meldgaard said in a statement. "We wish him all the best in his future career."

The company said it will recruit a new CFO. Sogaard-Chrstensen will stay on, performing his normal duties through the transition period, which could run until next fall.

Sogaard-Christensen's reasons for leaving were not disclosed, nor his next move.
