Germany's Nordic Hamburg has inked an order for two feederships in China, brokers said.

The 1,400-teu vessels have been inked at Huangpu Wenchong for delivery in April and June 2020.

No price was given for the order.

The company already has four ships of the same size on order at Wenchong in cooperation with Finland's Containerships, which is the main owner of the quartet.

The first two, Containerships Nord and Strom, are due this month and in November at a price of $32m each, and are partially powered by LNG.

Nordic Hamburg operates a fleet of 22 ships

It also has a ro-ro/boxship on order at Yangzijiang.
