Russian oil company Lukoil is considering building a new bulker terminal in Vysotsk.

It wants to tranship coke, coal and pellets there, according to the Leningrad regional government.

“Lukoil has expressed its interest in construction of a dry cargo terminal...whose planned capacity is to reach 7m tonnes annually at the first stage, by 2021,” it added in the statement cited by the Prime news agency.

Capacity could eventually be extended to 15m tonnes, creating 160 new jobs.
