Greek owner Transmed Shipping has picked off a second kamsarmax bulker from Noble Group.

Transmed has purchased the 81,600-dwt Ocean Forte (built 2015) in a $23.79m deal, Noble told investors.

Noble says it will book a profit of $300,000 on the latest sale, while net proceeds from the disposal will reach $8.4m.

The ship is the third kamsarmax sold by Noble this year as part of a winding down of its shipowning presence in the sub-sector.

In March Transmed bought the 81,000-dwt Ocean Vision (built 2015) for $24m.

As TradeWinds has reported previously, Noble has claimed time charter tonnage is sufficient to cover its kamsarmax bulker requirements.

With three of its four kamsarmaxes now sold, Noble will have a fleet of 15 owned bulkers.
