Eric LeGoff’s Evermore Global Advisors has emerged as a new shareholder in Scorpio Bulkers.

Evermore has amassed a holding in the New York-listed company which is today worth more than $31m.

According to an SEC filing, the investor is sitting on 4.35m shares in the shipowner, which gives it a 5.8% stake.

LeGoff and Evermore join a shareholder list that includes GRM Investments, Raging Capital, Blackrock, Polygon Management and Anchorage Capital.

Shares in Scorpio Bulkers last traded at $ 7.15 each. The company has a market capitalisation of $538.42m.
