Greece's M/Maritime is the latest owner to join C Transport Maritime's (CTM) supramax pool.

CTM said the 60,000-dwt Areti.GR (built 2017) will be added to the revenue sharing agreement (RSA).

"We are very happy to welcome M/Maritime into the supramax RSA, the largest and most flexible supramax pool on the market," CTM added.

"They become the third new member to join...this month, following hot on the heels of the d’Amico Group and Eastern Pacific Shipping."

M/Maritime, set up in 2016, has three other ultramaxes, plus smaller bulkers and newbuildings on order.

Last month, CTM welcomed back Idan Ofer's Eastern Pacific to the RSA.

It added its whole supramax fleet: the 53,500-dwt Bridgegate (built 2010), the 63,000-dwt Daimongate (built 2017) and the 61,000-dwt Devongate (built 2014) and Divinegate (built 2019).

CTM said the return of the owner highlighted the core strengths of the RSA - its flexibility, with no minimum duration and only a three-month exit notice, plus no withdrawal fees and zero daily administration fees.

It charges a 1.25% commission.

The RSA had five members and six vessels in 2013. Now it has 18 members with 66 ships.

Earlier in March, Italy's d'Amico Dry joined the pool with its 53,000-dwt Medi Bangkok (built 2006) and the 56,000-dwt Medi Paestum (built 2009), while Chandris (Hellas) added a vessel in December.
