French OSV giant Bourbon is seeking a new CFO after owner Jacques de Chateauvieux's niece resigned.

Astrid de Breon took on the role in February last year and has "largely contributed" to the group's transformation and to the sustainable reorganisation of the company’s financial debt, it said.

She will continue to fulfil her duties until her replacement and departure from the company, a date for which was not given.

De Breon was previously a director at Bourbon and is the daughter of Henri de Chateauvieux, Jacques' brother, who has 7.6% of the shipowner.

A graduate of the ESSEC Business School, she worked at BNP Paribas, first as a project manager for finance management and then head of corporate strategy.

After 2014, she had been in charge of institutional and corporate clients at the Business Center Paris Etoile Entreprises.
