Hyundai Mipo wins order for $61m LNG bunker vessel

South Korea's Hyundai Mipo Dockyard has clinched a new contract for an LNG bunker ship worth KRW 71.5bn ($61.3m).

The vessel has been ordered by an unnamed Asian company, the yard said in a regulatory filing.

The deadline for delivery is the end of January, 2022.

The yard has already reportedly won one order earlier this month.

Greek owner Thenamaris exercised an option for a third LPG carrier newbuilding at the yard, market sources told TradeWinds.

Managers at the Martinos family company did not immediately comment on the information.

However, several online ship directories already list the shipowner with the newbuilding.
