Tor Olav Troim-backed 2020 Bulkers has fixed another of its Newcastlemax bulkers being built in China.

Trader Glencore will take the 208,000-dwt Bulk Shanghai for between 11 and 13 months on delivery from New Times Shipyard in early November.

It will earn an index-linked rate, reflecting a "significant premium" to the Baltic 5TC index, 2020 Bulkers said.

And the contract also includes profit-sharing of any economic benefit derived from operating the vessel's scrubber.

In July, the company said it had secured new charters for three of its other Newcastlemax newbuildings.

Koch Supply & Trading, a subsidiary of Koch Industries, signed up the Bulk Sandefjord for 36 months at an index-linked rate.

The deal replaced the previous 12 to 15-month time charter to Koch at a rate of $19,525 per day.

In turn, Bulk Santiago will serve the charter originally entered into for the Bulk Sandefjord for 12 to 15 months at a fixed rate of $19,525.

And Bulk Seoul will serve the deal originally entered into for the Bulk Santiago, for 12 to 16 months at a fixed rate of $22,250 per day.

It was previously known that Koch had fixed the first newbuilding.

2020 Bulkers has eight newcastlemaxes under construction at the Chinese yard. Sandefjord and Santiago are now in operation.

Shanghai is the fourth in the series.
