DOF Group continues to pare down its platform supply vessel fleet.

On Monday, the Oslo-listed company announced the sale of the 4,800-dwt Skandi Gamma (built 2011) to an undisclosed buyer for an undisclosed price.

It said the ship has been delivered to its new owners, and DOF will continue as its technical and commercial manager.

“The sale of another PSV is in line with our long-term strategy to focus on the integrated subsea services and the short to medium-term focus on optimising the combination of earnings and vessel values from our PSV fleet,” chief executive Mons Aase said.

He added that the move slashed the company’s leverage to roughly 1.5 times its 2023 Ebitda, which came in at NOK 2.9bn ($266m), according to its fourth-quarter earnings report.

The ship is valued at $26.7m by VesselsValue and between $23.2m and $35.1m by MSI Horizon.

It was built at STX Soeviknes with an STX PSV 06 DF LNG design.

The sale leaves the owner with 10 PSVs in its fleet, plus 25 subsea vessels and 15 anchor-handling tug supply vessels.

According to VesselsValue, the Skandi Gamma is DOF’s ninth PSV sale stretching back to early 2021, when it sold the 4,100-dwt Skandi Buchan (built 2002) to the UK’s Gardline Marine Sciences for $1.8m.

In total, the sales appear to have netted DOF $64.5m.
