Norwegian businesswoman Celina Midelfart has topped up her holding in Borr Drilling with a $1.5m move on the stock.

Her Midelfart Capital vehicle has picked up 350,000 shares in the company at NOK 35.6706 each, according to a disclosure to the Oslo Stock Exchange.

Midelfart, the long-term partner of Borr Drilling founder Tor Olav Troim, now holds 4,992,850 shares in the firm worth a little over $21.5m at the purchase price.

Shares in Borr Drilling were trading up more than 7% at NOK 36.20 each in Oslo this afternoon at a time when local focus is on the offshore sector given the ongoing Pareto conference.

The shares have climbed by 22% in the last 12 months.

Borr has a total fleet of 37 rigs, including 11 jack-ups still under construction.
