Cyprus-based Prosafe has secured another four weeks of work for one of its floating accommodation vessels.

It said Repsol Sinopec Resources, formerly Talisman Sinopec Energy, has exercised options to keep the 450-bed Safe Boreas (built 2015) in the UK through to 24 April.

The unit is currently working in the Montrose A sectpr of the North Sea.

The rate has been reduced consistent with market conditions.

In January, Arctic Securities assumed the daily earnings on a previous extension to be about $150,000.

Repsol Sinopec has further unspecified options for the vessel.
