Steve Holland has left his role as a director at shipmanager V.Group after 15 months.

The departure is revealed in a filing on Friday by V.Group's parent company AI Mistral Topco at Companies House in the UK.

The executive, born in May 1957, joined in a non-executive role in March 2019.

The move comes less than a month after former Euronav chief executive Paddy Rodgers made a return to shipping by taking a seat on the V.Group board.

The experienced tanker man has a non-executive role at the UK shipmanager.

A spokesperson from V.Group said: "The V.Group board is small and whenever we welcome a new member, typically an existing director will step down."

Rodgers led Euronav for almost 20 years, before taking the market by surprise in February 2019 by resigning.

By last June, he had taken a job as the director of London's Royal Museums Greenwich, which comprise the Royal Observatory, the Cutty Sark sailing ship, the National Maritime Museum and Queen’s House art gallery.

V.Group said Rodgers brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the board.
