Veteran Teekay Corp director Eileen Mercier has stepped down from the board of the shipowner.
Mercier has been replaced as chair of the company’s audit committee by Alan Semple, who has been a director since 2015.
He is a former chief financial officer of John Wood Group but retired three years ago.
“We owe a huge debt of gratitude to Eileen,” said Teekay chairman Bill Utt.
“On behalf of the entire Teekay Board, I want to recognize Eileen for her exemplary service as a Teekay Board member over the past 17 years, and thank her for the significant contributions that she has made to Teekay during her tenure.”
Teekay and its daughter companies boast assets of around $13bn with more than 200 vessels.
