Dof Subsea has secured another long-term contract for one of its platform supply vessels (PSVs).

The owner said the 142-loa Skandi Vitoria (built 2010) has entered into a 532-day agreement with Brazilian oil major Petrobras.

Mons Aase, chief executive of Dof, said he was very pleased with the award, which confirms the company’s strong position in the South America region.

Skandi Vitoria, which is owned through a joint venture with Technip, is the first pipe-lay vessel built in Brazil and one of the three Dof vessels to carry the Brazilian flag.

Since the beginning of 2017, Dof has announced long-term deals for five more ships.
