Charterer and trader Cargill has added to its leadership team to support a faster pace of growth.
David Dines, a member of executive management, becomes CFO from 1 December, replacing Marcel Smits, who moves to be head of Cargill Asia Pacific.
And Anna Richo will join Cargill on 14 January as general counsel, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary.
She was most recently executive vice president and general counsel of UCB, a Belgium-based global biopharmaceutical company.
Richo succeeds Laura Witte, who retired on 31 May after 33 years.
“We’ve undertaken significant changes over the past three years to build a more agile and integrated Cargill to serve customers’ rapidly evolving needs," said CEO David MacLennan.
"The world does not stand still, and neither will we.”
